OBG ("we", "us", "our") hires verified human experts ("you") directly to deliver specialised AI training and data briefs that we publish. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
1. Information we collect
We only collect what is needed to hire you and offer matched briefs. Specifically:
- Account data from your Google sign-in: name, email, profile picture, and a stable Google user identifier.
- Profile data you provide: credentials, languages, expertise, rate floors, weekly capacity.
- Brief data: the briefs we offer you, your acceptances and declines, hours delivered, and per-brief quality outcomes.
- Technical data: IP address, device, browser, and access logs for fraud prevention.
2. How we use it
- To match you with eligible briefs based on credentials, fields, availability, and rate.
- To verify your eligibility and prevent fraud and account abuse.
- To share with the AI lab or enterprise buyer who commissioned the brief the minimum profile fields they need to validate your work (see §4 below).
- To send you operational emails — new offers, weekly payout summaries, security alerts. You can disable digest emails any time.
3. What we never do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your information with advertisers.
- We do not store your Google password — sign-in happens entirely through Google's OAuth flow.
- We do not share any data with the buyer who commissioned the brief beyond the fields described in §4.
4. Data sharing with buyers who commission our briefs
Your contract is with OBG — we pay you. When you accept a brief, we share with the commissioning buyer only the profile fields they require to validate the work — typically first name, location country, field tier, and credential tags. Direct contact details (email, phone) are never shared; communication is mediated through OBG. You can review exactly what is shared on each offer card before accepting.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored in encrypted, access-controlled databases hosted on Google Cloud. Access is restricted to a small number of named employees and is logged. We retain operational logs for 90 days and account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, data is anonymised within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- Request a copy of your data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Object to specific uses or restrict processing.
If you're an EU, UK, or California resident, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA respectively. Contact privacy@outbreakglobal.com to exercise any of them.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (session token, CSRF protection). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Optional analytics cookies are off until you opt in.
8. Children
OBG is not directed at people under 18. If we discover we have collected information from a minor we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this Privacy Policy materially, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before changes take effect.
